Rates shown below are starting points. My editing pace depends on the shape of the writing received.

Books and Essays

• developmental (argument structure, clarity, idea generation, etc.–no citations.)

  • $45 per hour (students, independent scholars)

  • $55 per hour (tenure track/tenured faculty)

• copyediting

  • $45 per hour (students, independent scholars)

  • $55 per hour (tenure track/tenured faculty)

• indexing

  • $5 per indexable page

Dissertations

• copyediting final revisions (this is the most common request I receive, that said, I’d love to get my hands on your dissertation sooner!)

  • rate: $35-$50 per hour
