As a former tenured professor, I know the pressures and impossibilities of getting your writing done in a “publish or perish” environment. I was trained by the top-notch editors at TDR: the journal of performance studies from 2009-2012 and I’ve been editing ever since. Why? I’m a nerd and I love reading other people’s work.

Rates shown below are starting points. My editing pace depends on the shape of the writing received.

Rush Fee
As I book projects in advance, it is not always possible for me to turn work around quickly (e.g. an essay in 24-48 hours, a manuscript or dissertation in less than 2 weeks). In these cases I will add the following rush fees to the total:
30-45 page essays $50
150-300 page manuscripts $150
